Another visit from the chicks!

The chicks are growing fast!  And boy, they are very active!  They kept trying to escape our little "play pen"!  Next time they visit, we may have to make higher "fences"!!

Today Sienne  brought  a book called Freddie & Gingersnap.
It was about how a dinosaur taught a dragon how to fly. This is about Freddie & Gingersnap helping each other learn new things.

This is our favourite part of the story because they are facing eye to eye and they look a little funny.

Growing Chefs - lesson 4: Lettuce Tasting & Vegetables with Feelings!

Today we tasted 4 different lettuces. 

Some were sweet and some were SPICY!!

 After trying the lettuces, we listened to the story How are you Peeling?  Then we each got a fruit or vegetable and made faces on them using macaroni and black-eyed peas.  Can you tell what animals we made and how they are "feeling"??

Today in our class a BLG reader came to read to us.Her name was Yoko and the book that she read to us is Henri's scissors.  The book was writtin  by Jeanette Winter.In the begining the little boy's dream was to be an artist when he gets older.But when he got old all he could do was to lay down and sleep.When will he get more better?Read the book to find out...

This is our favourite page because it's so colorful and also because we love the big view of the water.It also reminds us about beaches.
