Today we went to Arts Umbrella. With our class.They  teached us how to draw insects and bugs.

Eat like a bear

Today we had one Blg reader to read with our class. Her name was Leah and the book was called Eat like a bear. We thonght that was a funny book and we made a conectshin to the months of the year and all of the seasons too.

On Nov.20 Wednesday we went parker  studio.  Zoe showed us oil  paintings. We thought her work was awesome!!!

 Today a BLG reader read to us a book  called The Little Read Hen. Her name is Aelene. And our favorite part of the book is when they all gathered around and  read togther. But her friends did not help  the hen. They just said not I. Then the  hen did all its work  by her self. But one day she said to her friends want to help me read? Her friends said I will  but then she thought of it. Why should she read with them when they did not help?

And then the hen didint feel like reading by herself so she asked if her friends if they wanted to read with her and they said yes then they lived happly ever after.

BLG reader

Today we had a BLG reader come to our class room. She read us a book called OL'MAMA SQUIRREL. Her name is Cristine. We had her last year. The story was about a mama squirrel who was a little to pertetive about her baby squirrels. When ever someone or something went near her babys she would say "chook chook chook''
And she would rase her finger and scol.

"Peace" - What does it mean to me?

Peace is a wonderful thing to think of and I could think of so many things.  I feel peaceful when I just relax and enjoy the peace that's around me.  and a differint kind of peace is taking turns with others and being thanful for haveing a friend when you fall and when you are   stuck with something.  They make it turn into peace.And i just think of having peace all the time.

 ON November 11 it is Remembrance day.It is an importint day.It is a day when we all remember the soliders who got killed in the war and the other people who was killed in the war too.There are poppies too.We all wear them.There are two kinds.There is a red and a white.Those poppies show peace.We want our world to be peaceful so we don't want any more wars.Now I wish everyone does something that is peaceful.What can you do to make this world peaceful?

On November 11 it is going to be Remembrance day. Remembrance day is to help you Remembrance the soldiers whom died in wars. And there are two diffing poppies.They both mean peace.And why did they made poppies a sin of peace?  Because when wars end the poppies some how start to grow.

On November 11th it's Remembrance day.  My school is having an asembly to talk about peace.  My class is singing a song that is called Where Have All The Flowers Gone.  and now I'll want to talk about what peace is.  It is making friends, it's being nice, being helpful, playing together and caring.  We do this because we want a world of peace and to remembre the soldiers who died for us so we do not have to fight.  We are also remembering the innocent people who died from the war - like world war one and world war two and world.  Three of my dad's uncle fot in world war two.  But let's see what we can do here are some ideas: make friends, share, be nice, be giving and be kind. One more thing LOVE.  Think for a moment what would a world be with out peace.

Today we have a new blg reader.  Her name is Sienne. She brot a book  named how to train a train.  There is alot of trains. Trains are great. There is colors on the trains. Trains has engins.They have doors. They have lights. And they have bells and horns too. Some trains have wheels.  And some trains have windsheld. Some trains have ladders and they have smoke. In the book it  teaches us how  to make a train to be your pet.  Everyone liked it.        

           

Poppies

Yesterday Ms. Quon teached us  peace.

We started painting fields for poppies for remember  the people who died in the wars.

    

First we paint a lot of green grass and then we put it on the table and wait  for it to dry.

  Today we are going to paint red poppies on our grass.

 This is our paint that we will use to paint with.

This is when we put the black on the mittel  of the poppies  so they look like poppies.

Some Halloween Stories

On Halloween Night
On Halloween I trick or treat but the first thing I did in the moreing is I was wearing my costume my costume was a princess for halloween.  My moms friend take us to a plece where people are rich.  Some of the that are rich ran out of candy so fast.  When we were finally fineinesh we went home we were tiyred.  but when we went home my moms friend had fire works so she fire it.   but when we were at home we saw fire works.  We herd fire works because I herd something lade outsied.

Halloween day
Oct, 31 it was halloween and I was a witch and my techer was a hockey player allso we wher excited for halloween to arrive allso we went to trick-or-treat.  we had a short party and we dated.

Yesterday was halloween.  That's when you dress up and get candy.  First, I got dressd in my witch costume and went to school.  At school, it was a normal day until we made pumpkin muffins.  Then the best part was coming!!!  We had a halloween party!  We had stuff like chips, candy and cupcakes!  I was so hungry I ate four cupcakes.  Then we went trik or treating in the school.  Then it was the best part.  after school I went trik or treating with my friend.  Halloween was a blast!

The Halloween night
Yesterday I went trick or treat with my little brother, Mom and Grandma.  We trick or treat at McLean park.  I saw some of my classmates. I went on a lot of houses.  I went on a house that had a poping pumpkin it will just pop up.  We went to the ice-cream shop we got free ice-cream  I picked the gummy bear one.  It was so yummy when we got home trick or treating I poord all of my candy that I got I countit all of my candy.  I aet cupul of my candys.  I felt very good because my Mom said maybe we can go trick or treating.  I hoped we can go trick or treat and we did  Then I was very excited to go trick or treating!

I go treating with my sister.  I was Hulk.  I see witch cat.  I go home eat candies.

Yesterday was Halloween.  I trick-or-treat.  I trick-or-treat in are school.  I had so much candy in my bag.  Then I get to eat my candy  I shar with my famlye.  Happy Halloween!

A Holiday
Yesterday was a Holiday it is Halloween.  Halloween is the Holiday when people dress up.  On the morning it was normle then on the afternoon it was not normle  On the afternoon we had a junk party I bringed popcorn and lollypops.  And the other thing was we we went... trict-or-treating and we went around our bilding .  We went to 8 rooms and after school we went trick-or-treating around my neighbourhood  I got a lot of candy I got 174 candy and I dont know how many houses I went.  Yesterday was a great Halloween.

Halloween night
Yesterday it was halloween night and I went trick-or-treat and In the morning I  Got up and got my costume and I was a Powerrangers for halloween and when it was halloween night first I went to pick up people.  Now we went trick-or-treating in our neighbourhood and it was fun trick-or-treating with people and geting candy and I got 200 candy!

School at Halloween
Yesterday was Halloween.  I had no idea at home what to wear my costume.  I went and ..... Deanna was dress up as a zombie!!!!!  Everyone think she was a vampire.  I said "no let me think of one a zombie"!  I was dress up as a sun god name Za!  When it was party time we all dance at the first!  We were listening to the song that was call bones!  Than it was bobbing for pears!  K.D. try to bobing for one and he did!!!!  He got so wet that the water was dripping on the floor!!!!!!!  He is wet like a fish! Then we toke a picture and said "where is wado"?  After it was the best time it was trick-or-treat!!!!!!!  We went to all the class including our class!  At the end I felt excited and proud of my self!!  I Had the best time of my life!!

The best Halloween!!!!
Yesterday it was Halloween and I was a mous at school.  And I also got some wiscers from Deanna and a nose.  And then we got ready to do reading senters like are normol days.  And then we had a math drill after we had reses.  then we came into the classroom to have our party and some people did par bobbing (pear bobbing).  Then it was time to eat our treats.  When everybudy was done we went trick-or-treating in groups together to get candy.  And when we were we sat down and ate the rest of our candys.  

Halloween
October 31 was Halloween  I had so much fun.  That day I woke up in the morning I was lieing on the bed with the lite on my dad terned on the lite on and he said "time to wake up" and I said "no I do not want to"  my dad said "you do not want to miss halloween" so I said "ok" so I got up and I got changed and then I brush my teeff and I reins my moth and I take my iron  I go down stairs I wash my hands then I have breakfast then I put on my jaket then my backpack then I go to school the bell rang when I got to the line when I got to the class we did the normal schedule and then after that it was time for the halloween pardy first we did dancing then we did pear bobing  next we got our trick or treat bags then we got into groups  we went trick or treating   I got so much candy and one top then I went to St. james after that I went home  I had dinner  I handed out some canndy   then T. trick or treated and he said "boo" I scemed the I terned arond I saw T. and he said do you want to have free ice crem I said "yes" so I went trick or treating and get free ice crem and on the way home I trick or treated all the way home and when I got home I whent start to bed.  the end

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!!
Yesterday on Halloween I woke up really early.  And went rite to the cupboard and got drest but not in normul cloths I got drest up in my costume.  Now it was time to go to school my teacher was drest up as a hockey player and "I" was drest as a power ranger  "J" was the god of laffter and the sun.  She was beautiful.  Now first we did all the normul stuff we ushuly do then the fun began after lunch.  We started to dans then songs and you will not beleev we bobbed for pars.  Now let me tell you how wet "M" and "K" were now "D" was the igzact opposite.  He was compleately dry.  I think it was cinda crazy.  Then the dansing I dansed by my self then we aet.  I broght doritos. "S" broght miniature cupcakes.  The were delicious!  I could have had ninethowzen of them.  But unfochenitly I was only alowed 1 one.  Serisly!!!  Then we went trick-or-treating... but not out side we went in our building.  Then school was over.  And I went trick-or-treating, this time I went outside.  And I nocked three times.  Smiled and said trick-or-treat and I said that about 200 times.  I was feeling so excited in the morning.  And tired at the end. 

Halloween is yesterday
Yesterday it was Halloween.  The kis were on costumes.  Next we madn a pumpkin cake it was good.  I like the pumpkin.  It was good.  The hol class aet the pumpkin cake.  The hol class side (said) it is good eve bady (everybody) like the pumpkin cake.

Yesterday it was Halloween.  "S" was a witch.  hes wore a tall black hat and I didn't we heve (have) a blast but we so went trick-or-teat.

Halloween!!!!
At Halloween we went to school.  When we got there Ms. Quon did not know who are we.  First we started with normal things.  And then we started with Halloween things like cooking.  We baked pumpkin cake  At the end of the school we had a party  I did bobing and I went rick or treating!  I went to St. James.  I was pooped  "T' mom picked me up.  and then my mom came when I was walking I saw candy I went there I got the candy.  I said thack you when I got home my friend came to my home.  I ate diner and then we went trick or treating.

Yesterday it wa Halloween.  I was so excited Because I am going to trick-or-treat in school and night.  Whan I went to school it was the same thins as the days after.  First whan recess was over we made pumpkin cake.  Then it was lunch time  the we hade a party.  First we danse and bod (bob).  Then we ate are trest (treats) and went trich-or-treat in the bilding.  It was a blast.

Happy Halloween
I was so happy because it was Helloween  Now I'm radee to go at school I was  happy to see Ms. Quon and Ms. Quon said whoooo "H" are you wharing grew (wearing dress) and I said yes  "H" go ok.  now I'm set on the tadel (table) now I went home bet I'm not going go trick-or-treating because is celebrating 

We have a good time at Halloween.  Yestrday I went walking to ge some candy with my friends.  It was grat at Halloween.  I went to houses that I never seen befor.  My coustom (costume) is woldo (Waldo).  Before I was walking I got tired.  It is from that runing.  I get all that candy that I got from the house.  was srpize (surprise).  I feel grat that I got that candy.  it is fun we go to sort the candy that we got.  I got sleep.  Then it is November today.  I am writing for Ms. Quon.  And I feel happy too.  I want to go Halloween agen.  For rele.

Great Halloween
Yesterday was a big day for trick or treating.  Yesterday I woke up in 7:51 I was dreesed up a Superman but I canot fly with it.  Then my mom drop me off but I did'nt like the ordernaryg (ordinary) stuff.  At recess My friends were making a strem.  "T" was Waldo and "T" was a ninga turtle.  Yesterday's lunch was the best!  But "T" didn't ate as much as I thouth (thought)... the moment yo been waiting for the party!!  First we were dancing.  I was doing pear bobing.  I got the pear so I won  I got a big bite on the pear but my face was very wet because I was puting my face in the water after were were eating treats.  I liked the treats.  The most funest thing of all... Trick or treating !!!!  I got many treats in my bag.  I also trick or treat at houses.  My feelings were execiting and happy.

Yesterday it was Halloween.  I was derst up as a transformer calld otmespim and my cozen was sooperman.  My sister took us tirch tretin (trick or treating) at nigth time.  First we went tirck or tretin aranode (around) my mom's firend's house.  We got a lot of candy.  The we went tirck or treat in aranode my sister's house.  We got more candy.  Then we went into my sister house.  my sister gave us a geft bag then we went back to my mom's fired's house.  And we stad (stayed) there for a littebet (little bit).  Then we went to my mom's house.  and I showd how mach candy I got.

Halloween day
Today is November the 1st.  I drest up like belle.  I am going to school  Ms Quon said we are gonna have a paty after reading time!!!  Ms Quon gave us a bag to get candy  we went trick-or-treat to ever teacher.  After it is home time I go home with my mom  we whate till It's night time.  We whate and whate for my dad to go home.  that was takeing to long so I wash T.V. insted whateing.  At last, my dad came home so we go get or costume.  I went trick-or-treating with my little sister and mom and dad and me!
